Our Mission

Our mission is to ensure that the spouses and families of our nation's heroes are given the support, recognition, and resources they require. If the Spouses and families are not being cared for, our veterans will not be mission effective in fighting our nation's battles.

Our Story

Triple Hares began in 2018 when my wife Kirsten became pregnant with our twin daughters. We had no insurance and were paying cash out of pocket for her doctor's appointments. I found myself quickly joining the military for the second time and knew I would not be around for the birth of my daughters. If I could not be there in person, I could be there in Spirit. This began the creation and self-education in sewing. I created and assembled the first two bunnies for my children.

Around the time our team decided to start Triple Hares, we were pregnant with our third daughter, and of course, I made her a bunny as well. The Triple Hares stands for my three daughters and the fundamental building blocks of Triple Hares, Community, Care, and Service.

Community:

Triple Hares believes we can be found alone and cut off from a strong community. It is too easy to find yourself feeling alone in the military environment. Our problems are unique, ever-changing, and unreliable to our civilian brothers and sisters. Our first mission is to build a community where all spouses, families, and veterans feel they belong.

Care:

Our second fundamental building block is the necessity of care. Care comes in multiple different ways and can be exhibited but not limited to the following methods: financial, spiritual, physical, and social.

Service:

Our final building block is service. We would not be here without our veteran's service to our country, but we want to focus on the usefulness our spouses and families provide to our veterans. To do this, we want to bring awareness to our communities and military through community events. Instead of our overtaxed spouses volunteering, we call on our veterans to volunteer and give back to our spouses and families.
