My Story

I was born in Macon, GA, into a military family. My father enlisted in the Army, and my mother enlisted in the Airforce and swapped to the Army. I grew up despising the military and never wanted to have anything to do with the military personally. I grew up well opposed to the ways, experiences, blessings, and trials that often affect the family members of veterans.

I graduated High School and moved to Lynchburg, VA, to attend Liberty University, where I obtained my Bachelor of Arts and My Masters in Public Policy. After my first year, I quickly learned that life takes significant income to survive. I dropped out of school and reluctantly enlisted as an Infantryman in the Army National Guard. I served seven years of active duty and reserves in a Scout Recon Platoon. I deployed to the Middle East under Operation Enduring Freedom. After my tour overseas, I soon received my Masters and ended my military experience to marry my wife, Kirsten.

My wife and I soon became pregnant with twin daughters and did not have the insurance needed to supply for a high-risk pregnancy. I quickly rejoined the military and was Commissioned in the United States Marine Corps. I was selected for a competitive air contract during The Basic School (TBS) in Quantico, VA. We quickly moved from Quantico, VA, to Pensacola, Florida, then Corpus Christi, Texas, where I was selected to fly the KC-130j. After her birth, we became pregnant with our third child and moved to Cherry Point, NC.

During our time in the military, we experienced troubles that seemed overly familiar within our own family and in the families of many other veterans. We sought support for numerous issues but found the existing organizations needed to be more overtaxed, focusing predominately on the Veteran instead of the family. This inspired Triple Hares and our mission. We want to help every family member we can find, from buying them groceries, finding qualified babysitters, housing support, spouse social functions, and sports sponsorship for spouses and children, to name just a few.
