GOLD BUNNY INITIATIVE

The Gold Bunny Initiative was born from a project I began for my Children. I knew I would be away with the Marine Corps when my twins were born. I could not let my children be born into this world without some element of their father being there with them. I spent hours pouring away over videos and tutorials learning to sew. I spent weeks developing and refining a pattern and about six very ugly prototypes until I successfully created a handcrafted bunny that my daughters could have for the rest of their lives and always think of me.

This project eventually grew, and my wife and I found ourselves making bunnies for newborns for many of our deployed friends. We realized that these bunnies provided a stuffed friend for our veteran's children to grow up with and a friend to hug when their parents are away serving our nation. Through the Gold Bunny Initiative, you can work with our team and customize a bunny for a child or loved one and purchase it directly from Triple Hares. Each bunny purchased will fund the crafting of a bunny for a child of a Gold Star Family or a veteran child with disabilities.
